Lindsay Lohan is "awesome" in `Machete`
The troubled actress - who plays a gun-toting nun in the Robert Rodriguez-directed movie - was praised by cast and crew at the film`s premiere in Los Angeles on 25.08.10, despite her recent trip to jail and a subsequent rehab facility.
Speaking on the red carpet, Robert said: "She`s awesome in the movie. That`s what they`ll see: the actress behind all that paparazzi nonsense that follows her and won`t leave her alone. They`ll get to see her and say, `Oh, that`s why we follow her around.` "
Jessica Alba also praised the 24-year-old star.
She said: "She`s so good in this movie. I can`t wait for people to see her in it."
Jessica was among a number of the film`s stars to turn up to the World Premiere of the film - Michelle Rodriguez and Danny Trejo were also in attendance, as was iconic film director Quentin Tarantino and comedienne Sarah Silverman.
`Machete` is released in the US on September 3 and the rest of the world throughout October and November.
